What Is Contract Manufacturing?

Contract manufacturing (subcontract or OEM manufacturing) means a company outsources part or all of the production of its own product design to a specialized manufacturing partner. In the sheet metal industry, this typically covers laser cutting, bending, punch cutting and welded assembly, carried out according to the customer’s own technical drawing (DXF/DWG). At Formlaser, we have been providing contract manufacturing services since 2004 from our2,500 m² facility in Dilovası OSB, serving industries from automotive supply to white goods, construction, and energy & infrastructure projects.

How Our Contract Manufacturing Process Works

We keep the process as simple and transparent as possible:

  • 1. Send your drawing: Share your DXF or DWG technical drawing through our quote form or by email.
  • 2. Receive a quote: Based on material, thickness, quantity and tolerances, you’ll receive a price quote within 24 hours.
  • 3. Production is planned: Once approved, your parts move through our laser cutting, bending, punch cutting and, if needed, welded assembly lines.
  • 4. Quality control and delivery: Products are inspected under our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and shipped on the agreed delivery date.

Which Processes Do We Offer as Contract Manufacturing?

We combine multiple production steps under one roof and one point of responsibility:

  • 2D Laser Cutting — precision sheet cutting up to 25 mm with our TRUMPF TruLaser machines
  • 3D Laser Cutting — 5-axis cutting for pipes, profiles and complex geometries
  • Bending — press force from 65 to 320 tons, up to 4,000 mm length
  • Punch Cutting — punching, forming and thread-cutting in a single machine
  • Welded Assembly — turnkey assembly with MIG/MAG, TIG and spot welding

You can see our full equipment list on the machine fleet page.

Which Materials Do We Process?

We work with a wide range of materials — from St37/S235 and St52/S355 structural steel to stainless steel (304/316) and aluminum, as well as galvanized sheet and copper. Thickness ranges and tolerances are evaluated individually for each project.

Industries We Serve

Our contract manufacturing customers mainly come from automotive supply, construction, white goods, electronics, industrial machinery, and energy & infrastructure projects. We respond with flexibility to projects of any scale, from small prototype batches to high-volume series production.
